To help her best friend Su Xiaoqing escape marriage pressure, Cui Shiyi devises a quirky "Bestie Pursuit Plan" – letting her straightforward bestie approach the ice-cold CEO Lu Jingchuan. However, Su Xiaoqing's journey is full of mishaps: mistaken for a delivery person when sending coffee, getting drunk after helping the CEO block alcohol, even returning the CEO's pen as a gift... As the "behind-the-scenes strategist," Cui Shiyi frequently interacts with Lu's scheming brother Chen Jinghe to fix her best friend's messes. Chen, a seemingly playful investment banker, has long been drawn to Cui's cleverness – he leaks the CEO's schedule, brings hot congee when she works overtime, and "happens" to rescue her from difficult clients. Just as Su melts Lu's heart with her straightforwardness, Cui finds herself trapped in Chen's sweet scheme: he knew about her plan all along and even secretly improved it! Turns out, he'd targeted her from the start! This farcical "use-someone-else-to-achieve-one's-goal" plan eventually becomes double sweetness: the best friend and CEO get together, and Cui and Chen transform from "trickery vs. counter-trickery" to mutual affection.
