Thirty-year-old Lin Xinyue runs a third-generation old bookstore at the entrance of a south city alley, making a living selling used books and her late father's vintage belongings. One day, a suited businessman Gu Yu pays a sudden visit, announcing he will acquire the alley to build a commercial complex.
