A socially anxious programmer Lin Mo takes a job at a remote zoo to pay the rent, planning to slack off and coast through days. However, he accidentally awakens a beast-taming system while feeding monkeys—he can understand all animals' voices and subdue intelligent spirit beasts. Just as he tames the wild Monkey King "Golden Stick", he stumbles onto the city's top illegal creature trafficking ring hidden behind the zoo, a secret linked to his missing programmer partner. Juggling the animals' chaotic antics and evading gang pursuit, Lin Mo embarks on an unexpected rags-to-riches journey.
