Su Xiaotang, a modern office worker, died from overwork while drafting a rural revitalization plan. When she woke up, she found herself in 1978 in Taohua Village, a poverty-stricken mountain hamlet. Faced with a thatched hut empty of belongings, her emaciated parents, her younger brother on the brink of dropping out due to unpaid tuition, and a village surviving on barren land and fate, she used her "past-life cheat code": buying plastic sheets with egg-selling money to build greenhouses for off-season vegetables, convincing Lin Jianguo (a hunter's son) to start a mountain product business, and even opening a village-run garment factory despite the village chief's accusation of "doing useless things".
