Just unemployed, Lin Mo takes the 10,000-yuan-a-night museum night shift to cover his mother’s medical bills. He soon finds that touching cultural relics grants him temporary superpowers like instant appliance repair, but at a cost: rapid aging—graying hair, exhaustion. Soon colleagues go missing mysteriously, the curator acts suspiciously, and weird shadows haunt surveillance footage. Lin Mo uncovers a huge conspiracy of cultural relic trafficking and human experimentation behind the high-paying shift. He’s already the chosen “test subject” with no way back once stepping in.
