Ordinary office worker Lin Mo, starting at rock bottom in the hit holographic mobile game *All People Drifting*, is relentlessly mocked and targeted by others, on the verge of elimination. By chance, he triggers a hidden AI program, gaining full access to ocean currents and rare resource spots across the whole sea—shooting him from the lowest drifter to an unrivaled ocean overlord. But when he reaches the top, he uncovers a dark conspiracy: the game leaderboards are manipulated by corporate capital. As overlord, he disrupts the game's order while secretly gathering evidence to expose the greedy truth behind the false national craze.
