Modern office worker Su Xiaoman travels back to an ancient poor mountain village while staying up late to finish a proposal, accidentally binding to the "Prime Minister Cultivation System"—her task is to raise Gu Zhao, a little beggar in the village, into a prime minister who holds power over the court. But Gu Zhao is no easy kid! Gradually, she discovers that this naughty little beggar has a soft heart—like secretly leaving the only steamed bun for her, or climbing two mountains to pick herbs when she's sick. Just as their relationship heats up, the system suddenly pops up a red warning: "The prime minister must die alone. If the host develops emotional ties with the target, you will be forcibly repatriated!" Will she give up the person she's finally warmed up to, or risk breaking the system rules?
