A modern special forces soldier time-travels into a low-rank foot soldier of the Great Yan Dynasty’s frontier, only to fall into a deadly trap—his camp is raided by the enemy chieftain with running out of supplies, and the deputy general plans to use him as bait. Holding a rusty broken sword, he meets a mysterious Hu girl (who is secretly the enemy chieftain’s daughter!). They team up to set traps, burn the enemy’s grain stronghold, kill the chieftain, and smash the power conspiracy of the frontier general colluding with the enemy. Rising from a nobody, he finally defends the lonely city and changes the frontier’s bloody fate.
