Archaeology graduate Su Nian discovers an unopened 1943 letter among her late grandfather's belongings. Upon touching the parchment, she time-travels to wartime Shanghai. There she meets Lu Chenzhou, an officer who looks identical to her grandfather in youth. As historical truths unfold, Su must choose between saving loved ones and altering history. Will this 80-year-old letter guide her back to the future, or trap her in the past forever?
