Su Wan runs a small flower shop in an old alley, guarding her late grandma's courtyard filled with spring blossoms. Lu Yu, a newly arrived ancient architecture lecturer, stumbles into her roadside flower shed while working on an old town renovation project, mistaking her for an unlicensed vendor. The two bicker at first and gradually get closer. As the renovation plan moves forward, Lu Yu accidentally learns Su Wan's courtyard is a relic of a century-old spring garden. Torn between his professional duties and the growing affection for the free-spirited yet resilient Su Wan, the pair launches a tug-of-war between responsibility and romance amid the city's spring scenery.
