To avenge her clan massacred a decade ago, Shen Zhaozhao infiltrates the Han family under the alias "A Zhao," targeting Han Shiyan—the young master she believes ordered the killings. But as she gets close, she finds Han is nothing like the cold-blooded demon in rumors: he brews medicine for her when she's sick, takes a knife for her when assassins strike. Even more shocking—Han has known her true identity all along, yet lets her plot against him. The truth unravels: Ten years ago, it was Han who hid the young Shen in a woodshed and took the blame for the massacre to protect her. When Shen plunges her knife into Han's chest, she realizes: Her hatred is for the title "Han Heir," but her love is for the man "Han Shiyan"—and their bond was forged on that snowy night a decade prior, long before revenge clouded her heart.
