Lin Xiao, a porcelain restoration artisan, accidentally awakens the porcelain spirit sealed in a Song Dynasty blue-and-white vase while sorting her grandmother’s old belongings. Sealed for a thousand years, the spirit’s only obsession is to return home. During the journey to find home, Lin Xiao discovers her grandmother has a cross-time bond with the vase, and the spirit’s “home” is closely connected to the old house where Lin Xiao grew up. As the truth unfolds, Lin Xiao uncovers her grandmother’s secret and heals her own lack of a sense of belonging through getting along with the spirit.
