Lin Xi quits her well-paying planning job in the big city and returns to her hometown, where she has fond memories, to open a café—strongly opposed by the whole village at first. Initially, villagers doubt her idea as "unproductive" and stand by with indifference, but with her persistence and creativity, she turns the run-down old house into a popular cultural and tourism landmark, drawing massive crowds of tourists. This not only boosts the local economy but also wins over the formerly skeptical villagers, who finally change their tune. Along the way, she also reconnects with her deep affection for her hometown.
