A struggling Beijing-based office worker receives a frantic call from her grandpa, who’s being bullied and exploited by her greedy, shameless paternal uncle. The uncle has demolished the family’s old pigsty to run an illegal mahjong parlor and embezzled the grandpa’s pension savings. Quitting her city job out of rage, the protagonist returns to her hometown, starting with rebuilding the pigsty to reclaim the occupied ancestral land.
