Su Wan, an overlooked illegitimate daughter of the Marquis Mansion, swaps faces with her scheming elder sister Su Rou—who came to steal her wedding—on her wedding night! As "Su Rou," she deals with Su Rou’s mean plots while secretly approaching her groom, the God of War Prince Gu Yanzhi. To her shock, the icy prince says to "Su Rou’s" face, "Your ginger tea still tastes like the one you made years ago." Meanwhile, Su Rou, now in Su Wan’s body, tries to seduce Gu Yanzhi but repeatedly slips up because she doesn’t know his habits. Even more surprisingly, Gu Yanzhi has long seen through her: "Your finger mole has never been on Su Rou’s hand." Amidst the face-swap chaos, Gu Yanzhi’s hidden affection for Su Wan is revealed—he’d long noticed the little illegitimate daughter who secretly covered him with a cloak and made him ginger tea. Su Wan, in turn, finally dares to face her feelings. But as they grow closer, the truth behind the face-swap emerges: is it a task from Su Wan’s "counterattack system"? Or a "little trick" Gu Yanzhi used to make her take the initiative?
