Poor mountain hunter Dachun picks up a mysterious little baby girl during a blizzard. The baby says astonishingly, "The red ginseng is waiting for you in the back mountain", leading him to dig up a rare centennial ginseng. This was supposed to be a god-sent chance to change his poor fate, but it arouses the crazy greed of local tyrants. The tyrant comes to coerce for the ginseng and snatch the baby. Dachun embarks on a road of overturning his fate with the ginseng as a bet to protect this "little lucky baby gifted by the mountain", and gradually finds that the baby has a secret of fantasy life experience.
