Lin Xiaoman, an overworked office worker, collapses at midnight and wakes up trapped in the body of Su Wan—her high school class flower, the “perfect goddess” who committed suicide right before graduation. At that moment, the real Su Wan, possessing Lin’s dead body, sneers: “Do three things for me, or you’ll never get back.” To survive, Lin is forced to live as Su Wan: she must expose the school heartthrob’s fake affection, seek justice for her bullied deskmate, and break through the “love-without-words” wall of Su Wan’s mother. But as she peels off Su Wan’s “perfect” facade, she discovers that the girl’s pain hides her own past neglect—back then, she was an invisible wallflower who watched Su Wan being bullied but dared not speak up. When the last task is done, Lin realizes: “Counterattack” is never about becoming someone else, but about daring to face the wounds of both herself and others. Now that the swap deadline is here, she must choose: return to her “normal” office life, or stay in Su Wan’s body and live the “imperfect life” both girls once longed for?
