Lin Xiaogu, a country mushroom farmer, guards her grandfather's mushroom shed with her unique skill of identifying mushrooms. She accidentally gets involved in Gu Jingshen's "restaurant rescue crisis"—his family's French restaurant is on the verge of closing due to a broken wild mushroom supply chain. Gu Jingshen initially dislikes her for being "rustic" and thinks she's an internet celebrity seeking attention. It's not until he sees her identify mushrooms with her eyes closed and find termite mushrooms by smell that he realizes this "little mushroom picker" is his lifesaver. From mutual dislike to searching for mushrooms in mountains and developing new dishes together, Lin Xiaogu revives the high-end restaurant with rustic methods, and Gu Jingshen regains his original intention for food. When the "country mushroom queen" meets the "tsundere president", their sweet romance hides the most healing counterattack. Turns out, the best love is being each other's source of "freshness".
