Su Xiaotang, a senior copywriter at an advertising company, has quietly let a nepotism-hired supervisor take credit for her ideas for three years. At home, she endures "widowed parenting"—her husband Lin Chuan is always working overtime and even forgot their daughter is allergic to mangoes. One night after working late, she sees Lin Chuan's car parked outside a café with a girl in fancy clothes in the passenger seat. Heartbroken, she finds an old notebook filled with her college creative ideas, with the first page reading: "Your light has always been there." It belongs to Gu Yan, an industry tycoon who has been searching for the idea's owner for three years. Su Xiaotang secretly uses the ideas for side jobs, and her work goes viral, winning the Golden Cup Award. On the award stage, Lin Chuan appears with a mango cake—the girl is his cousin, and he was helping her pick a gift. Gu Yan hands her a "Creative Director" offer. Touching the sun necklace her daughter drew, she realizes: The light she hid wasn't to illuminate others, but to bravely see it herself.
