Lin Xiaoman, a socially anxious programmer, has her WiFi hijacked by new neighbor Gu Heng—a seemingly elite lawyer who’s actually a slick “selfish opportunist”. To her surprise, this triggers a “No Nonsense System”: every time she calls out his “taking advantage” behavior, she unlocks skill boosts. Gu never greets her for WiFi, lies to his ex to scam money, and uses his power to pressure others… Lin is forced into a “principled counterattack”: when she asks for WiFi fees and gets called “petty”, the system rewards her with upgraded coding skills that save her million-dollar project; when she exposes his lies, she discovers his “selfishness” stems from a childhood of “being ignored”. But when the system’s ultimate mission pops up—“Trade one act of nonsense for his true heart”—will Lin choose to stay true to herself, or give up her “no nonsense” to save Gu? A urban fantasy battle between “principles” and “love”, where the satisfaction of打脸 hides the most touching emotional dilemma.
