Shen Shi, a modern architect, travels to a famine-stricken refugee village, starting in a brutal "hell mode" where everyone struggles for survival. Rejecting the mindset of waiting for rescue, he applies modern infrastructure knowledge to build shelters, dig irrigation channels, and reclaim farmland, gradually solving the famine crisis. From being doubted by villagers to being recognized as their leader, he not only turns the dilapidated village into a self-sufficient utopia but also develops a budding romance with a fellow villager he fought alongside, forging an inspiring path of growth amid the harsh years.
