Unemployed programmer Jiang He dives into the "hustle" of an old neighborhood—where street food vendors' warmth clashes with a real estate developer's plot to demolish the area—to save his grandma’s noodle shop. Teaming up with a sweet soup vendor, a bike repairman, and Lin Wan (a returnee designer who catches him furiously defending the shop), he uses coding to drive live-stream traffic and fights to protect the neighborhood from capital greed. When shops are vandalized, live accounts get banned, and Lin Wan argues with him over "nostalgia vs. a promising future," Jiang He realizes: "Joining the hustle" isn’t about winning—it’s about holding onto the warmth of ordinary people and turning their struggles into the brightest light. In the end, the neighborhood becomes a "city memory hotspot," and he and Lin Wan find their truest love in the everyday chaos.
