Su Wan, an ancient abandoned woman kicked out by her in-laws, wanders the streets with her hungry infant. In despair, she accidentally awakens a portable space—filled with spiritual spring-grown produce and magical kitchenware that turns ordinary ingredients into extraordinary dishes. She uses the last flour to cook a plain noodle bowl, saving a penniless, ill-fated scholar. This bowl cures his old illness and sparks his good luck: he aces the imperial exams and escapes disasters. Meanwhile, Su Wan thrives with her space’s cooking skills and falls in love with the scholar. They team up to take revenge on those who looked down on them, achieve counterattacks, and write an ancient romance of a discarded mother and a hapless scholar.
