Su Xiao, a full-time housewife, was cheated on by her husband and left with nothing; Lin Xia, a workplace newbie, lost her job after her best friend stole her client; Zhou Lan, an empty-nester mom, was called “troublesome” by her son—three women crushed by life unexpectedly reincarnated to the turning points of their fates after a rainy night car accident. They originally wanted to “turn back” to fix their mistakes, but in their second chance at life, they suddenly realized: what they needed to turn back to wasn’t pleasing others, but reclaiming the selves they’d abandoned. Su Xiao tore up the divorce agreement and fought for her property; Lin Xia exposed her friend’s schemes with evidence; Zhou Lan signed up for a tailoring class to revive her old dream. As the scumbags are all humiliated, the three women support each other and finally become their own light in “turning back.”
