In the 1980s, rural youth Lin Qiang took his elder brother Lin Feng’s job quota to move to the city and seized the Lin family’s old house. For 30 years, he deliberately alienated his relatives and cut off contact with his brother. When his elder brother suddenly fell seriously ill and needed a liver source, Lin Qiang received the critical illness notice, falling into extreme guilt and struggle—his half-life of interest disputes and escape collapsed in front of blood ties. He resolutely decided to atone by donating his liver, and finally, in front of the operating room, the two brothers with half-life grudges let go of their knots and achieved belated reconciliation.
