Overbearing CEO Gu Jingshen unexpectedly takes in his brother's 5-year-old son Gu Xiaotang. A man who’s decisive in business, he’s totally helpless with the cute kid. Su Wanwan, an intern lawyer just evicted by her landlord, accidentally becomes Xiaotang’s "temporary mom" while chasing a custody case lead, and is forced to live with Gu Jingshen. Gu Jingshen finds Su Wanwan "troublesome," yet secretly takes photos when she bakes cakes for Xiaotang; Su Wanwan calls Gu Jingshen "cold-blooded," but her heart races when he helps revise her case documents late at night. When Xiaotang’s biological mother suddenly returns to fight for custody, and Gu Jingshen’s rival uses Su Wanwan’s past against her, can these three "pieced-together" people hold onto this unexpected warmth?
