Su Xiao, a bankrupt homestay owner, ventures alone on Duku Highway to rediscover her original intention, only to get stranded with a broken car on a rainy night. She meets Lu Chuan, a retired CEO hiding from a broken heart. One is a down-and-out entrepreneur fighting to “stand up” again, the other a former business elite healing in the wilderness. They break down each other’s emotional walls on the cold Duku night. When Su Xiao’s creditors arrive and Lu Chuan’s identity is exposed, they realize—the most healing thing isn’t escape, but rewriting an unfinished story with someone special.
