Lin Mo, an unemployed college student who failed in the big city, returns to his hometown. There, he finds the abandoned fish pond controlled by bully fishmonger Zhao Hu who bullies villagers. Against his family's objections, Lin takes over the pond and learns fish farming from scratch.
