A childhood friend, chasing profits, tries to buy off their years-long brotherhood with just ten thousand dollars, mocking the down-and-out protagonist for being short-sighted. The protagonist walks away in silence, only to dig up a precious antique left by a reclusive tycoon in a scrap heap, starting his rags-to-riches journey worth billions via scrap picking. He also reunites with his true love who was previously schemed against by the so-called friend, leaving the once-arrogant childhood friend filled with deep regret.
