Down-on-her-luck landlord Lin Xiaoman transforms her ancestral home into a shared apartment, attracting four mysterious tenants: a wealthy heir hiding family secrets, an incognito celebrity, a single father with an infant, and a hacker who types obsessively at night. When demolition crews arrive unexpectedly, they discover the building was the site of an unsolved serial murder case 30 years ago. Across 61 episodes of urban adventure, these unlikely roommates evolve from mutual suspicion to becoming allies against shadowy forces, racing against time to uncover a transgenerational conspiracy before the bulldozers arrive.
