Lin Wanchuan was once a doormat used as a 'shadow designer' by her boyfriend Lu Jingchuan—her high-end custom series, done for him, was framed as plagiarism by his mistress Su Man. She lost her job and was cyberbullied as a 'thief' across the internet. Heartbroken, she left and, with her best friend's support, rediscovered her design passion. Three years later, she returned as the founder of the independent brand 'Wan Chuan'. At this time, Lu Jingchuan's company was on the brink of bankruptcy due to a plagiarism scandal and begged for her help. But she threw the original design manuscripts and chat records from three years ago at him—revealing that the 'plagiarism' was a scheme Lu set up to promote Su Man. Lin crushed Lu's 'plagiarism empire' with her works and declared at the press conference: 'I'm not anyone's shadow—I'm Lin Wanchuan.' She not only slapped those who hurt her but also transformed from a 'defined accessory' into the designer of her own life. Unexpectedly, she also gained the love of Chen Mo, an architect who had been silently supporting her.
