Gu Tingshen, a powerful minister of the current dynasty, lost his wife Su Wan three years ago—she took an assassin’s sword for him. Since then, he’s shut his heart off, clinging to their old residence. On the third anniversary of her death, a woman in a moon-white dress appears from the peach tree in the yard—she looks exactly like Su Wan, but calls herself “A Wan” and claims to be from “Guixu”, a realm that houses broken souls, with no memory of “Gu Tingshen” at all. Overjoyed and shocked, Gu tries everything to make A Wan recall the past. But as they grow closer, doubts about Su Wan’s death emerge one by one: the assassin’s sword was poisoned, and the poison traces back to Gu’s own brother? Is A Wan here to avenge a broken soul, or is she the return of an old love? When obsession meets innocence, this “reunion” after three years will finally settle the “love debt” under the peach tree.
