In the 13th year of the Republic of China, Lin Shen, a down-and-out former detective, was wrongfully jailed for a mass murder. Before execution, he was taken by a mysterious figure to a fog-shrouded isolated island—all residents were connected to that old case: a reclusive rich lady, a hypocritical lawyer, a missing witness...
