Lin Xiaoman, a white-collar worker, and Su Wanwan, a beauty blogger, are ten-year best friends. After staying up late to finish a cruel novel about "famine and starvation", they unexpectedly transmigrate into the peasant sisters in the book—bullied by greedy relatives and almost starved to death. Facing the barren land after a locust plague, Lin uses modern business sense to launch a "crop-sharing cooperative", while Su makes her first pot of gold by producing scented soap with her makeup skills. But the villainous cousin from the original novel envies their success and colludes with the county magistrate to seize their fields and profits. The two besties outsmart the greedy relatives and rewrite the fate of the famine year with modern knowledge—not only making a fortune but also avenging the original owners by slapping the bullies. Who knew this transmigration trip would become their most satisfying "entrepreneurial game"!
