Su Xiaotang, a workplace newbie, takes her grandma's relic—an old red coin engraved with "1932"—to pawn for her grandma's medical fees, only to be bought by Gu Zhaoning, the owner of a vintage store, at ten times the price. Little does she know that this coin is the "life-saving token" Gu's grandpa wanted to find before his death—in 1932, Gu's grandpa was saved by Su's grandma and promised "repayment by descendants". When Gu Zhaoning discovers Su Xiaotang is the benefactor's descendant, he not only helps her solve workplace crises and achieve a turnaround but also launches a sweet pursuit step by step; the unspoken proposal note from Gu's grandpa hidden in the coin makes their fate continue from their ancestors to the present, a "promise reversal" spanning nearly a century, turning sweet love into a two-way destined journey.
