Lin Mo just took over his grandfather's abandoned zoo when he accidentally activated a weird system. Ignoring the actual situation, the system insists this is a hidden branch of the Beast Tamer Sect, labeling the local stray dog as a Howling Moon Sirius and a stray cat as a Nine Lives Spirit Cat, while frequently issuing beast tamer trials. Wanting to just guard his legacy and live a stable life, he is forced to become a "fake sect leader": covering up for the system while fighting villains eyeing the zoo, being misunderstood by his childhood sweetheart Su Qing (a zoology expert), climbing with success all the way, finally uncovering the astonishing secret between the system and his grandfather's legacy, embarking on the true path of beast taming.
