Lin Xiaoman, a modern corporate slave, died from overworking and woke up as a “jinx” rejected by her in-laws in a 1960s famine-stricken village. Sent to dig wild vegetables in the back mountain, she accidentally bound the “Village Construction System”—growing wild vegetables yields rice, picking branches exchanges for quilts, and helping neighbors repair fences unlocks a treasure pouch. But the old village head calls her a fraud, Granny Wang spreads rumors she’s possessed by a fox fairy and wants to burn her, and a rascal plots to steal her “mysterious supplies”. Lin Xiaoman secretly uses the system to bring grain and cotton to the village, uncovers the theft plot, and resolves misunderstandings—can a modern slave’s survival wisdom turn the famine-stricken village into a place with hot meals and stored grain?
