Lin Xingwan is the wildest singer at the bar, never taking anyone seriously—until she saves Gu Huai, a fine arts student surrounded by hooligans. On a whim, she pinches the boy's chin and kisses his forehead, laughing, "Sister will protect you." But when Gu Huai starts waiting at the bar's back door every day with hot milk tea, copying her playlist into notebooks, and even staying up all night making ginger tea when she's sick, Lin Xingwan panics: a woman who "dared not love" is actually moved by this little milk dog. So she secretly buys a plane ticket to Dali to escape. However, when she drags her suitcase to the community gate, Gu Huai is there with her favorite stray cat, a ring hidden in his coat. With tears in his eyes, he says, "Sister, you flirted with me and now want to run? I drew a hundred portraits of you, even named our future cat... You can't leave me!" It turns out her "whim" was his three-year secret crush; her "escape" was fear of not deserving his pure love. And the little milk dog's sincerity finally breaks through her defense.
