Su Xiao, an intern planner bullied by her team leader in Jing'ao Business District, accidentally knocks over CEO Gu Jinchuan's coffee—smashing the cup with his confidential USB drive for an important deal. Fearing job loss, she's shocked when Gu proposes a "compensation": be his "temporary assistant" to handle his grandma's marriage pressure. Since then, the intern is forced to "live together" with the CEO, helping him fend off suitors and investigate internal spies, while using her talent to help Jing'ao win a key project. Gu, watching this brave girl who helps him despite fears, shifts from "using" to "falling in love". When Su finally becomes Jing'ao's core planner, Gu holds a diamond ring and smiles: "Want to turn your temporary job into Mrs. Gu?"
