The God of Swords of Great Xia was betrayed by his fellow disciples, meridians sealed and turned into a useless man. By coincidence, he was reborn in Edo-period Japan and became a nameless low-level samurai. Thinking his swordsmanship was ruined, he found Japanese martial arts were far inferior to Great Xia's. With his profound past-life sword attainments, even with sealed meridians, he crushed shogunate masters with superb skills, and met a mysterious Japanese woman. While seeking ways to repair his meridians and investigate the conspiracy against him, he set off an invincible storm in the shogunate, staged a comeback, rewrote his fate and continued the sword god's legend.
