Lin Wan, an advertising director, has just suffered a double blow—her boyfriend’s cheating and a project failure. She’s suddenly stopped by Gu Shen, who claims to be a "soul guide from the Afterlife Bureau"—he says she has only seven days left to live. However, Lin Wan soon finds that Gu Shen looks exactly like her high school first love, who died saving her years ago! Caught between the pressure of a ticking clock and the regret of unspoken words, Lin Wan must uncover the truth behind Gu Shen’s "return" within seven days, while dealing with her ex’s mistress’s provocation and client difficulties. On the last day, she finally realizes: the so-called "soul guiding" is just her first love’s "final goodbye" formed by his obsession, and what she needs to do is to live brightly again with their memories.
