Set in the 1970s, Fu Bao, an orphan raised by wolves since childhood, is taken to the village by a couple coveting her 'rare background'. The whole village waits to mock this 'wild girl', but unexpectedly, Fu Bao's unique senses from the wolves let her find rare pheasant ginseng every time, making her adoptive family rich in months and envied by all villagers. Her biological parents who abandoned her cruelly long ago get jealous, coming to claim kinship for property, but are blocked by Fu Bao with a shovel, cutting off their chance, presenting a satisfying plot full of reversals.
