Seven years ago, a young man was forced to flee Chang'an due to family disputes, losing all contact with his childhood sweetheart. When he returns seven years later, he runs into her at Chang'an's busiest lantern market—once a cute little girl, now a noble lady of the capital, sharp-tongued and of high status, even dignitaries have to think twice around her.
