Lin Wan, a full-time housewife, gave up her dream of being a top fashion designer to support her husband's business. However, on their 5th wedding anniversary, she catches her husband cheating with her best friend. Her mother-in-law then seizes her premarital house in the name of "continuing the family line" and spreads rumors that she "can't have children." In despair, she finds her late father's design manuscripts—the original intention she once sealed for love. Lin Wan works part-time at a fabric factory during the day to learn craftsmanship and stays up late revising designs at night. Finally, she is shortlisted for an international emerging designer competition with her "Cocoon Breaking" series. When she stands on the award stage in the haute couture she designed, her ex-husband begs for reconciliation with a diamond ring, and her former best friend cries for forgiveness. But she just smiles at Gu Cheng, the designer who has been quietly helping her—this time, her flame burns only for herself.
