Bei Piao designer Su Xiaotang, determined to break through her career bottleneck, voluntarily takes on her company's "Lingnan Old Town Cultural and Creative Project" and heads to Guangzhou. She rents a small room in a qilou on Enning Road, and her neighbor turns out to be Lin Jianshen—who guards his grandfather's "Fuxing Morning Tea Shop" and hates "internet-famous makeovers" with a passion. Their first encounter sparks a fight: Su's late-night plan revisions disturb Lin's tea prep, leading Lin to call her a "tradition ruiner" and Su to dismiss him as a "stubborn fossil". But when the tea shop faces eviction due to rising rent, Su uses her design to turn the shop's "Shrimp Dumpling Chrysanthemum" into a viral intangible cultural heritage snack. Meanwhile, Lin secretly retrieves her stolen key design draft. Those misunderstandings hidden in the folds of shrimp dumplings and prejudice in the aroma of morning tea finally simmer into something warmer than the phoenix lava bun—right in the spring of Lingnan.
