Lu Jingshen, CEO of Lu Group, is cursed—every full moon, he grows weak, and the only cure is "pure violet qi"—a rare energy exclusive to those with a natural Zi Wei astrological chart. He finds Su Wan, a rookie lawyer who unknowingly carries this qi. Lu approaches her as a "career mentor," but during repeated "qi-borrowing" sessions, he’s moved by Su’s stubborn kindness, shifting from manipulation to genuine love. When Su discovers Lu’s secret, she investigates the curse while falling for him. As the curse’s deadline nears, Lu must choose: take all Su’s qi to live or die together. Yet they soon learn this "survival scheme" is tied to a decades-old feud between their families.
