Urban drifter Lin Xiaoman, desperate to escape her grandma's marriage pressure, rents Lu Chuan—a cold, reserved programmer from her client—as a fake boyfriend to return to her village for the Mid-Autumn Festival. Upon arrival, Lu's elite awkwardness clashes with grandma's over-the-top rural warmth, sparking hilarious mishaps: stepping into a pigsty, tripping over grandma's square dance shoes, and even being mistaken for a "son-in-law candidate" who must pass a "farm work test."
