Lin Xiaoman, once a shining dance teacher, shut herself off and gave up dancing entirely after her dance partner Gu Chuan died in an accident. Her life changes when she rescues Doubao, a border collie that somehow knows their old duet steps—turns out, Gu Chuan secretly trained the pup as her "last dance partner" while he was terminally ill. Every spin Doubao makes stirs Lin's old wounds, but also pulls her out of darkness: Gu Chuan's diary holds his unspoken love and the promise to "dance with you until the end of the world." When Lin steps onto the stage with Doubao again, as the lights come on, she realizes: the warmest redemption is letting love lead you back to dancing.
