Su Xiao, a woman fleeing from her scumbag ex, takes shelter in a remote mountain homestay, only to encounter a series of strange events: midnight sobs, missing guests, bloodstains in the bathroom—all clues pointing to the rumor of a "murderer in the homestay." When she gets closer to the truth, she discovers that the so-called "murderer" is actually a victim persecuted by a gang of scumbags, and Zhou Ming, the homestay owner who has been protecting her, is the mastermind behind everything! In the end, Su Xiao teams up with the victims to turn the tables, making the scumbag gang reap what they sowed. The hidden human darkness in the homestay is more terrifying than horror itself.
