Lin Jingnian, once a provincial team table tennis prodigy, retired at his peak due to injury and now wastes away running a shabby training hall—until fiery coach Su Xiaoman bursts in. She wants to use the space for a grassroots ping pong public welfare class, only to be met with Lin's pessimism. From bickering to coaching kids together, Su digs out his ten-year-old hidden racket, while Lin defends her from unreasonable investors. When Lin stands on the amateur league court holding Su's lucky bracelet, he realizes: A comeback isn't about returning to the top—it's having someone to turn "once" into "now", and a lonely game into a mutual rush of sweetness.
